Point and shoot for Time lapse?

I've shot some time-lapse with my 5d but I am looking for a smaller camera that will take instructions from my canon shutter remote and do a decent job with time lapse.  This way m dslr won't be tied up for hours on a tri pod.

Of course to take time-lapse correctly I really need the following control:

-Manual mode (including the ability to assign Wight balance)

-Be able to affix an ND filter to slow the shutter down a bit

- Be able to switch into manual focus (or at least fix the focus at a certain point).

I've looked at the G15 but it doesn't look like it will fit the bill.

Any suggestions?
