Very nice photographs! However, I cannot say that this new Sigma 35 f1.4 lens is rendering the photos superior to other 35mm lenses; i.e., Nikon 35 f1.8G, 35 f2D, etc., that I have used on my D7000. The photos are reasonably, but not exceptionally, sharp; and the contrast and color rendition are just OK, but nothing stunning. I think that my Nikon 35 f2D has significantly better contrast and a richer color rendition. And the 35F2D also may be a bit sharper (at least stopped down a little). Overall, the new Sigma 35mm lens appears to be a competent but rather unexciting lens to my eyes. Just my opinion, of course; others may well differ.
