35mm 1.8 OSS Test

Hi All,

I received my 35mm 1.8 yesterday. I usually like to test my lenses out 'in the field' as it were but as it's now dark & we are suffering from a severe snow lashing in the UK, I thought I would do a quick indoor, pixel peepers wet dream, type of test.

Each image is a 100% crop of the lens at 1.8 against apertures of 2.2, 4.0 & 8.0 for easy comparison of performance against it wide open.

As you can see, it is not great wide open & the autofocus seemed to really struggle inside (granted, the light ain't great but by no means bad). I will test again tomorrow in better light conditions.

The below images were manually focused, on tripod & self timer was used & OSS was turned off.
