Olympus 60mm f2.8 Macro is it all hype?

At macro distances depth of field is very shllow. I wouldn't expectt much to be in focus. I also wouldn't expect good images from someone shooting macro for the first time.

Did they stop the lens down. Did they use a tripod? Did they use a focussing rail?

I'm guessing not.
