6D usability/controls/Menu questions/feedback

Hi all,
i'm having the 6D since two weeks and coming from a 500D I find it more difficult to change some settings.
It's know the missing button for WB - probably the main drawback (workaround: set it in MyMenu)
AF points: the Main Dial only allows to change the focus points in the same row, left or right. you need to use the Multi Controller to move to other AF point. I find this pretty uncomfortable
Exposure compensation: I haven't found a way to change it without having to look at the LCD monitor (press Q, move to the appropriate item, use the Quick Dial, or add it to MyMenu). In my 500D I can change it with AV+- button plus Main Dial while watching in the view finder.
AF-ON button: is this any useful apart for focusing during movies?
AF-ON, *, DOP Preview buttons can be customized but the functions available for customization on those buttons are almost identical
There is no assignable function for exposure compensation (eg there is one for ISO that is hold button plus Main Dial)
Clipped Highlights: in 500D they are shown when viewing the histogram. In 6D you have them either always on or off
Any feedback, suggestion appreciated
Mike
