E-PL5 - eight things I don't like about you.....

Have OMD and PL5.

I will say that the MCG2 grip is an absolute necessity. Completely changes the physical feel when holding- so that it is more grippable than the OMD.

Some of PL5's strength.

1. Like the button placement more than the PL2 or OMD.  Of course, OMD is more controllable and overall better in handling due to the extra knobs.  But the buttonplacements of the PL5 just works better for me.

2. Screen flips all the way.

3. Smaller - it is pocketable for my jacket in a way that OMD is not.

4. Assignable buttons on top though I've not used that yet.  But that just makes sense.

If it had just one more turning wheel like the P3, it would be near perfect and I won't even mind the missing flash or EVF.

Good value for the $ especially if one got in on the $599 kit with lens over Christmas. Sell the lens and it is down to $500 for the body.  Sell the free card and it is down to $450 for the body.  A good value given its performance relative to the OMD.
