Hi Erik:

You have to bear in mind that the 85/1.2 + SB is a 60mm f/0.90 lens.  Even slower lenses, such as the Leica f/1 Noctilux, have a similar bokeh pattern:

In this case, the clipping is more pronounced in the Leica 50/1, although of course it is covering a wider field.
