Windows 8 printer drivers

Looking to purchase a new printer. Considering something like the Epson R3000. Have heard numerous concerns about the lack of drivers for 64 bit Windows 8, and wonder which printers have this driver. My old printer has only XP drivers. Thanks for any assistance.
