Nicely done... Here are some of my Red-tailed Hawk shots using SX40

Joms,

Nicely done yourself. SX50 or SX40, both capable cameras that can bring nature closer to home. This young one certainly was cooperative. With all the hawks that hunt the skies over my home, you'd think it would be easy to get their portraits often. But when perched, at the slightest sight of being noticed by a nearby person, they're off and gone. Just got lucky with mine this morning. Thanks for posting.

Vision

As they get older and become skittish, I already sold my SX40 because it is terribly slow. I replaced it with a much faster HS30 but shorter in FL.

So much fun taking pictures of em wild and free.
