USB Lens Dock: does it work for current lenses?

Overview says "Compatible with Global Vision lenses" but it does not say "not compatible with any other sigma lenses" and it does not say "compatible with Global Vision lenses ONLY".

So, what's the deal here?  Is my investment in high end Sigma SA-mount lenses now obsolete?
