Leica D-Lux 6 and it's creative mvie mode - Highspeed has no audio - why?

I love my new D-Lux 6 and am learning it's use. I used the creative movie setting and selected highspeed video. In playback there is no audio. Why is that? Why would someone want a highspeed option with out audio? John
