Yet another tripod question...

I had one of those and have dumped it - literally! I put it into the metal skip because the center column is one of the worst constructions I have ever had the misfortune to buy or witness. It's plain rubbish even if you don't extend the center column and it gets exceedingly worse if you put that garbage thing at an angle. I should have given my money to charity, that would have left a good feeling...
