Picasa is good enough.

So I was [and am] a Picasa user since around 2005. I know that most people like the more features and options in Lightroom, but after using Lightroom for a month I find myself going back to Picasa very often.
Perhaps it's my needs: I shoot only in JPEG and don't make prints that much. Mostly my photos go to my website (which is basically syncing with my public Picasaweb albums through RSS feeds) or FB or both. But I find that Picasa does a much better job of organizing my photos and offering me the basic editing options that I need... even the auto-correct (I am feeling lucky) feature seems so much better than any of the "auto" options in Lightroom. The selection bucket, "albums" and export options are also much more streamlined in Picasa.
TL;DR: Picasa is fast and free and just works.
