Panasonic 100-300 a good lens?

I am always a bit frustrated with zoom lenses that lack quality in the extreme zoom position. After all, if I bought it it certainly was because I needed the extreme settings, otherwise a shorter zoom would be more desirable

So, I say that a 100-300 that is good only to 200 mm ... sucks!

Note that I am talking in general, I don't have one. My tele-zoom is the Oly one, but it lacks IS with my Panasonic camera.
