Correct me if I'm wrong.
Does that mean that i can put (lets say) a 2TB drive into it, and thunderbolt will work, or an i mixing this up with something else.
From the description at the Belkin site, it sounds like you can't put any drives into it. What it does is to provide a Gigabit Ethernet port, a Firewire 800 port, 3 USB 3.0 ports, and audio in/out. The USB 3.0 ports are rated for 2.5 Gbps maximum. There is also a second Thunderbolt port for daisy-chaining other devices, e.g., Mac to Belkin dock to third-party DisplayPort monitor.
So why do you conclude you cannot connect any drives to it? You should be able to connect a Thunderbolt drive to that second Thunderbolt port (and then you can daisy-chain more Thunderbolt devices, if that drive has two ports). There is nothing on the Belkin site that suggests that you can't use a Thunderbolt disk on that second Thunderbolt port.
