The link is interesting in that it clarifies four different frequencies are used to remove dust. This aspect of the technology seems sound.

Dust removal steps during the assembly process are confirmed.

There is references to the dust off menu option to deal with any (liquid) spots on a sensor between sensor cleans - a feature which some on this forum seem not to know about

How widespread or real any problem might be is unclear. Any dust is magnified more at 100% viewing because the camera has 24MP.

I smiled when one dpreview poster complained about one speck of dust on a sensor 1900 shots after a wet clean

In the UK, and I understand the USA, anybody buying a new product with an obvious defect is entitled to an exchange or refund from the retailer.
