S110 or S100 purchase

In December 2011 I purchased a canon S100 and took it with me around the world.

On my third and final lens error the nice people at Canon repair in Sydney, Australia

a) serviced it free even though it was 10 days out of warranty

b) upgraded it to the S110 for free.

And I just picked it up today.

My question is that I have the underwater case for the S100. Should I

a) sell the underwater case for the S100 on ebay and buy one for the S110.

b) buy another S100 for possibly less than the underwater case (for the S110) and hope the lens error does not reoccur

c) take the case back to the repair centre and unreasonably expect them to upgrade it too for free

Has anyone got an S110 or an S100 and used it heavily with out issue?

ps I am very happy with the free upgrade even though it doesn't sound like it.
