I have used Costco over the years from brag books and for rushed higher volume work. The problems is not the color, but many times photos print over exposed. -Like the printer auto exposes shots with dark backgrounds. The Faces come out to light and over exposed. Some of the orders that that have multiple sizes will have a 5x7 that's correct, but an 8x10 that's over from the same file.

Is there anyway to handle this? Color correction is off. They have reprinted orders that have been screwed up turning off some other mysterious exposure setting. I know it's Costco and not a professional photo lab, but many times I've gotten great prints!

As you have, I find Costco prints to just be plain inconsistent. Some good, some not so good. I'm printing my own on the Pro 9000 mkll and they come out looking great.

Here's a link to a recent post of mine about the Pro 9000.
