100-300 APO Minolta

Both of these are great lenses but even used are above his budget though, especially the Sigma. The Minolta 100-300 APO is a tack sharp lens wide open @ 300mm, nice and compact and within his budget. This is a better lens than the 75-300 Sony and the lower end Sigma and Tamrons. The Minolta is a great lens for a great price.
