I agree that needless scare stories can damage sales (and I query the motives of many posters on this forum) but I think if Fuji was going to drop x-trans they would have done it already. Putting it into the X100S and X20 is a big statement of commitment.

I think it's a lot more likely we'll see Sony ditch the 24mp sensor in the NEX-7 (which, despite its bayer filter, its beset with far more issues than the X-trans) than Fuji ditches the X-trans.
