I have the pro strap, but looking at pictures the utility pad looks stronger.. What is your experience?

I love the OP/TECH System. I use the Dual Harness with large bodies and lenses and have never had an issue.

In my opinion, the Utility strap is the best choice for neck or shoulder carrying. Although the Pro strap is larger, it only has "dots" of rubber on the back rather than the whole back surface like the Utility strap. Canon CPS straps are rebranded utility straps.

The Pro Loop connectors which come with the Canon strap do not come with the utility strap. But they're worth ordering separately as they adjust much more easily. The connectors are best at their longest with shoulder strap and at their shortest with the dual harness.
