Why only review Lightroom and Capture One? I am glad more and more companies support Raw development of the files, but do not forget the older programs already on the market.
Here is the DP-studio scene developed in Silkypix 5, then sharpened in Lightroom. Here is the result http://extrazoom.com/image-2724.html (zoom-able to 100%).
First time I used Silkypix 5, so probably not the best development. I prefer to not sharpen too much when I develop, I usually do that later (for printing or screen). But for online viewing, I did some sharpening in Lightroom (which I use for cataloging).
Guess it is the curse of digital photography - people zoom in to 100% trying to find faults. Better view an image at 50%, this will look very similar to the print. Even better, print your images, and look at the overall image - is it beautiful, has a meaning for you? Enjoy your creativity! Ah, lunch is ending...
Cheers!
Edit: forgot to mention I used the moire-brush in Ligtroom on the queens face. Thats it!
