Canon EF 600 f4 L IS II USM + 2XII and 2XIII: some examples

Hi,
I have got this lens since one week now and I must say that I am VERY impressed by its sharpness. I have got also the 500 f4 IS and I had until two weeks ago the 600 f4 IS too (sold to buy the new model) so I could make a comparison between the old model and the new one.
The BIGGEST difference, apart the loss of weight, the reduced minimum DOF and the 4 stops of IS, is that now you can use this lens at full aperture even with the 2X teleconverters (so: f8), without stoping down at f11 for better image quality that was necessary with the "old" 600 f4 IS.
Here are some examples:
Black Redstart, 7 yards, 2XIII at f8

Running dog, 65 yards, 2XIII at f9

Flying Common Black-headed Gull, 30 yards, 2XIII at f8

Biker, 75 yards, 2XIII at f8

Tree bark, 70 yards, 2XIII at f8
