Any one concerned about L lens reliability?

Such as canon 70-200 f2.8L IS ii? I used to believe it is built like a tank, and will be worry free for many years to come.

However, according to lensrentals.com:

www.lensrentals.com/blog/2012/09/lensrentals-repair-data-january-july-2012

"

The Canon 70-200 IS II has problems with the nylon reverse gears in the zoom ring and its IS unit.

"

According to the link, IS/USM can be source of troubles. Compared to the lens it replaces, canon 70-200 IS II seems to degrade in reliability.

Of course, regular users will take better care of the lens, but still the reliability issue is there. Considering the high cost of out of warranty lens repair, how comfortable are you with your L lens, especially those in the high failure list?
