EOS 6D GPS Battery Drain

I have noticed that if I leave my 6D in the bag TURNED-OFF, my battery drains 20% per day.  I checked and have the update rate at 2minutes, GPS logger is DISABLED.

Where I first saw this was this week in Africa.  I did a full charge on the battery, popped into the camera, then two days later hopped in a truck on a one-day safari trip.  Battery was at 60%.  I had additional batteries, but sounds like no matter what you do, if you leave your camera in the bag for a week, the battery will be dead.

Thoughts?  Something I'm missing?
