My Go To Camera a z-990

I have the z-990 in a leather bag that sits on the floor  at the end of my desk. It is there as when I leave the apartment it is easy to grab.

This z-990 is the only Kodak digital camera here, all the others are Olympus, both P&S and DSLR's. This Kodak has moved into a place previously occupied by a Oly c-7000z as my grab, do anything camera.

I have been reading a lot of posts here on this forum about "deals" obtained recently by a lot of you. I have been that route also with a classic Olympus camera. Over time I purchased broken Oly UZI cameras, 25 of them, what was not broken on one became a donor parts camera for another. The repaired classic cameras went to Nieces and Nephews. I had a ball doing this.

May I offer another site for your looking? I have noticed  while looking at the Goodwill Auction site there is a bunch of Kodak Gear. Their site is at www.shopgoodwill.com After you get there search by category. 41 pages on cameras today.

Back to the z-990. At present I am fooling with "Legacy Glass" to be used on my e-420 Oly DSLR. MY setup will also use a "Legacy Bellows" unit and the whole setup will be controlled by my Nexus 7 Tablet and a APP and hardware from Triggertrap.

This present setup is OT as it relates to the Kodak forum but I wanted a picture of the camera setup so out came the z-990. The shot below was with available light, a North facing window, hand held. I normally used the Oly c-7000 for this job, but as I said the z-990 was very handy. ISO 125, f/2.8 @ 1/30s 4.9mm

Here is the Z-990 shot. The Legacy Bellows and the Legacy Glass are both Minolta from my film days as a SLR. In those days I also had a P&S Kodak, a "828 Kodak Bantam Special", now that was a camera.
