Yes.

The OMD will out-resolve the original 4.6MP Foveon line.  Mind you, not by a huge amount. More than likely it won't matter most of the time.  Resolution isn't everything.  If you happen to like the look of the Foveon sensor that can be more than enough.  Camera operation and responsiveness is a different matter of course.
