Panasonic gx1 or Olympus E-PL5? Backup to OMD

Hi guys need your advice on the following. I am planning a trip to India for 30 days mainly to do pictures. I have currently a D800 which i love, but will be living it at home because of its weight and a omd which i am planning on taking as a main camera, (12mm + 25mm 1.4 lenses).

I am looking for a backup camera, which i could also use, not only carry it on the bag, but doesn't weight a bunch. Honestly will love to get the fuji xei with the 35mm 1.4, but thats over 1600$ or the x100s which wont be around for the date of my trip.

So to my mind comes the following cameras:

panasonic gx1 plus viewfinder, can be find for less then 600$

E-pl5, no viewfinder, quite sure i will be missing the viewfinder: 600$.

Or stress it to another omd.

Any suggestions?

I am into portraits and street photography.
