Nice set of tests. What this shows is that while the 5d has the ultimate advantage at high ISO, the OMD sensor and processing offers more bang for the buck/size. I think Canon was kind of setting on the laurels (which they're about to run out of) of their large sensor, while Olympus worked hard to squeeze out every last drop of quality.

I think you went a little overboard in the description of the WB. It's a fact that the room is yellow. Would you want the same scene, illuminated by daylight and a incandescent bulb, to look the same? Would you want "magic hour" shots to look as though the light was white?

Canons, by design, let a little of the yellow creep in. This can easily be corrected in camera settings, or in RAW.

The way the OM-D captured the scene is the way it looked to me when I was there.  I have used the OM-D in daylight & golden hour times and its colors have been consistently accurate.  In bright sunlight, there's no noticeable difference between the OM-D and the Canon.  Under artificial light, the Canon is much too warm, although pretty easy to correct in ACR.
