Critism please - beach scene

I don't make a point ever of criticizing other people's photos, but you are asking foir criticism so this is how I see it.

If I had taken the shot I would have used landscape mode.  That would show a little more of the interesting beach area.   Also the sea appears to be running downhill.   Try to keep the camera perfectly horizontal when taking shots with a w/a.    You can correct this, of course, in post processing.   Exposure looks spot on and there's good DOF.    Right now I just wish I was there in the warm sunshine!
