i was reading about the Hyper 212 as a good option, i think i will stick with the i7

price wise, the i7-3820 vs i7-3770 (the 3770 is $40 more).

am i making the right choices?

how about the v/c - is it too much, i am not making any 3d movies or even hq commericals!

A $40 difference? Wow. Have you shopped around?

Here in the US, on NewEgg the price for a i7 3820 is the same as a i7 3770. Only when you go to the i7 3770K does the cost go up by $30. The K version only grants you an extra 100 MHz in stock clock speed and an unlocked multiplier for easier overclocking. If you don't plan to do much overclocking, then don't bother looking at the K version.

so, if the 3770 (non k or s) and the 3820 is the same price, then which one?
