I think the quality and price is right. Had they lowered quality and price they definitely would be butting heads with X100(s) owners and split that target segment in two, and at $1500 may very well be hanging in no-man's land. Why would I buy a $1500 FF fixed lens plastic camera with soft corners, soft wide-open f/2.8 and mediocre ISO ability? I would have stuck with the NEX (which I am still keeping) and kept my $3500 in my pocket.
