Horse Racing Continuous Shooting With Olympus OM-D EM-5?
Jan 15, 2013

I am considering purchasing the OM-D EM-5 with the 75mm f1.8.  I will be taking many types of photos with it but haven't been able to understand completely how I would take a string of burst photos of horses in a race going past a particular point.

Here is the example.  I do this with my Canon T4i and Canon 70-200 f4 IS.  I first focus with af and IS on the first horse and hold the shutter button down for a 5 fps burst which is what the T4i is the max the T4i is able to do.  I assume the OM-D EM-5 would do similar-af and stabilize on the first horse (frame) and hold that for 9 frames.  I would appreciate if someone knowledgeable with this Olympus camera would be able to confirm whether I am right or wrong.
