Alaska: What to see and what to bring

nice pictures bhollis! when we were in kodiak we took an air tour of the island in a float plane and then we flew to katmai and back. i really enjoyed the flights and we saw everything from mountain goats at eye level to fin whales in the shellikof straits. amazing country.

we hired a boat and took an all day cruise of prince william sound too.  the captain had been leading tours there for 30 years and really did a great job.
