Upgrading PC

Hello All

I am planning on retiring my Lenovo T400 laptop. Its getting sluggish and the hard drive is full of raw pics and video files, yes i could format, but its just a bandage solution. I want to start "editing" videos. What i mean by that is i have recorded (using my DSLR) videos of my kids.

All of these videos have been not touched. I want to do some more than basic video edit, but by no means "professional level" I am planning on using Adobe Premiere Elements 10.

For photo editing i use A LR 4.0, i may use Photoshop.

So this is the PC i am thinking of building, but am looking to pair it down a bit where i can, because i still need to buy a monitor! Any thoughts or ideas where i can squeeze a few dollars.

CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 Quad-Core, Socket LGA2011

Mobo: Asus P9X79 PRO Socket 2011 Intel X79 Chipset

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile Blue 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL9

V/C: Gigabyte (GV-N65TOC-2GI) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB GDDR5 | 1032 MHz Clock, 5400 MHz Memory | PCI Express 3.0, D-Sub, Dual DVI-I, HDMI

Blu-Ray/Dvd: Leaning towards a DVD, as i have a home theater to watch blu-ray quality product. why would i need a blu-ray?

Power Supply: Corsiar 650W

CPU Cooling: ???

Audio Card: not getting, unless there is a reason for it? i dont think so.

Case: random, inexpensive, $50.

Fujifilm FinePix T400 Samsung i7
