Guess what, I have an M9+50 Summilux and since I got my RX-1, I can unequivocally state, there is no comparison. Not even in the same ballpark. The M9 is up for sale and the only reason I am keeping the Summilux is to wait and see what the M10 brings, but quite frankly, I am already leery about the preliminary reports on the M10.
I care.
Why people buy, don't buy, and/or return is always of interst to me as it helps me shape my own opinion/expectations.
As you so perceptively pointed out; opinions are subjective.
Case in point: I can afford a Leica system as well as anyone on the forum but I wouldn't waste my money.
And yes; that's another subjective opinion.
