You know what "eternity" is referring to ? The amount of time you have to wait for such a camera to show up.

Sony screwed it up completely. The deterrent price is beyond everything that makes sense from a marketing standpoint. The missing built-in VF is just another annoyance apart from the cheeky price of the EVF. The lagging low-light AF is not helpful at all for a FF F2 camera ... a camera that can take images in near darkness but is unable to focus .. gosh what a fail.

Sony can proof to be serious about this type of camera with the release of a RX2 that got rid of all the annoyances and shortcomings of the RX1. Kinda Fuji X100S in FF.

Nikon (for example) already produced evidence about their ambition on the "1" system with the release of a massively improved V2. I expect the same from Sony !!!

"Waiting" is only a figure of speech as I am using and enjoying BOTH the RX1 and RX100.

As far as Sony screwing up? Well the both of these cameras are flying off the shelves! Other camera makers wish they could screw up this bad. LOL

It will take way more than the V2 to make most interested in the "micro-sensored" Nikon V system! Talk about screwing up! I and many other wrote Nikon off long time ago when it comes to non-DSLR cameras!
