There are adapters (e.g. Rayqual, Novoflex, Phottix) which can manually control the iris of Nikkor G lenses. By manually turning a ring (aperture control) on the adapter, the lever at the rear part of a G lens can be manipulated and therefore change the opening of the iris.

However, I just can't imagine how one can adjust aperture "manually" on a G lens with no aperture ring, or "manually" through a NEX body which also do not has manual aperture lever for G-lenses??
