Doing a little googling, it looks like the Digital Camera Battery (DCB) was a 6 volt device. The maker sold an adapter cable that fed the high voltage port on Nikon flashes. It was called a DCBKE, and I found one on EBay for $99. It has a step-up transformer as well as the Nikon 3 prong connector.
