The main requirement is ease of use, I'd like to be able to just attach to the camera and start shooting.
In that case, I would look at dedicated flashes from Nikon. EG, the SB700. I only have experience with the Sigma flash and that wasn't a very good experience. TTL flash was all over the place: way over/under. It was slightly better when not bouncing, with less variations.
