You also have to consider how most people will use it. Default settings. I imagine the Beta is probably actually an RC (release candidate), so can't imagine the final release is much different than the beta.

You really think any of the fuji people that purchase capture 1 would really use the default settings? Most people that know about them supporting capture 1 would be people on this forum.
If you were talking about lightroom I would completely agree. But not capture 1, people would buy capture one for fuji because they do not think that LR was good enough. Light room is cheap(and really really good). You would have to really want capture one to be using it over lightroom before you bought fuji IMO..
So Im going to have to fully disagree. Though I do respect you opinion.
I do agree that the beta isnt going to change much, though it may due to DPR releasing a semi negative review about it. they may update it soon.
