I think they are very close. I would be happy with either as far as image quality is concerned. So the way to decide is by ergonomics. What kind of camera do you want? I have the GH3 and it is nowhere as big feeling as I thought it might be. It fits my hand perfectly. I did not like the menu driven OMD when I tried it and it was actually a bit small for me. But I have an even smaller Sony RX100 for a purse camera so I no longer am looking at "tiny size" as a key ingredient for my primary camera. It all depends on what kind of camera you want in your hand. I think both have superb image quality.
