External boom microphone for NEX-6 shipping mid-March (ECM-XYST1M): $159

Yeah that's sort of puzzling.  I'd be keen on an ADP-MAA-sized 1/8 input adapter with another shoe on top for flashes or video lamps.  Since this microphone seems to be listed as being for "Handycam® camcorders, Cyber-shot® cameras and Alpha cameras", I can definitely imagine a pass-through adapter being handy.  Or a combo lamp/mic.  Or a lamp with a 1/8 input.  Anyway,  I'm digging this mic.  It's a step in the right direction and hopefully a sign of more to come on the Multi-Interface Shoe.
