Not a big deal for what I take and I see some of the Sigma's even have OIS, nice. Can switch it off of course with faster speeds.
Adding a 1.4x TC I lose 1.4 stops anyway, thats all pretty obvious.
Have you checked out Jacks shots lately ??. Not bad at all and don't forget, IBIS and even OIS a lot of the Canon and Nikon DSLR uses turn it off for faster shutter speed shots.
