My supposition is that sensor size does not affect depth of field. It's only a function of the lens and the distance (I know CoC is involved too, but this is more like blur introduced by pixel density on the sensor and is very slight). The lens does not know what sensor it is projecting onto. If you project an image onto a piece of paper, and then proceed to cut the edges around, the projection remains the same. The reason DOF suffers is because to get the same composition, you walk backwards.
I should've not mentioned the 10-30mm. This is distracting
