You are totally correct, I do need to play with cameras and lenses.  The Sony NEX 7 and OM-D and a few others are on my list.

I was asking someone today about their NEX 5.  They love it.  Unfortunately it is the first camera they have owned where you can change lenses, Southey can't say any more than that.
