Does anyone with a D800 regularly use LV and the ten-pin connector? Were I to get a D800, I would be using it with the ten-pin connector and using LV most of the time. Would the ten-pin connector stand up to that? I ask because SOME have claimed that their ten-pin remote socket is faulty and then Nikon blame 'impact damage'. Can anyone reassure me that it is a few that are faulty rather than the norm?

How is the LV on the D800 compared to the D7000? My D7000 LV was great in bright light (unlike the VF AF) but in dim light or anything like backlit, it was a disaster.

If you use the "LV feature" frequently, you have to purchase a Canon 5D MKIII body... I'm sorry, but true...
