he removed an object out of the photo and added something in its place, the photo isn't real anymore, its not a photograph any longer.

I didn't trash HCB and have no idea why you added him to the conversation, oh I see you don't have an argument regarding the original topic so you figured you throw one in.

if you think that he could have sent in a doctored Jpeg and claimed it to be the original then you have no clue at all.

You didn't trash HCB? Let's see... Before my post you stated:

"who cares what HCB did, head over to flickr and you'll find a 100 better photographers shooting street and documentary"

And then after my post you said:

"it always makes me laugh when people go on about the so called past master, maybe after 25 years behind a computer it's time to step outside"

So that makes you a liar. Which is kinda like a cheater. Which by your own comments means that why should I bother reading your lame posts.

"why would I waste my time reading a cheaters lame excuse"

So I guess it means time to Ignore User. Farewell troll.

the guy cheated and was caught, it's pretty obvious that you feel pretty stupid regarding your reply but rather than admit this you call me a troll.

pretty weak pup

You realise that the only reason any of us know about this is because the photographer decided to share the story as a kind of cautionary tale, right? All he's done is say 'Yeah, I messed up' and explained what happened on his blog. National Geographic keep all this under wraps so it's not like there was some big controversy and he's desperately trying to defend his reputation — he's the one who opted to make this public.

Your apparent derision for him seems unnecessary considering the guy was basically just telling a 'whoops' story of bad fortune, just as much laughing at himself as sharing the story. Of course, again, you wouldn't know this because you couldn't be bothered to read the article. You come across as someone who sniffed out an opportunity to be a dick and acted accordingly.
