Does anybody else think B&W photography is overused these days?

Bartjeej, you are absolutely correct. These three images where converted from Kodachromes.

Monument Valley

I converted the first two to monochrome because, sadly, the B&W negatives had deteriorated beyond rescue due to bad storage. Why did I convert them, simple, because that is how I prefer them.

I do not think the small amount of green in the third picture did anything for it and it works better in B&W.

In the past I carried two camera, one loaded with Kodachrome and the other with FP4. Isn't digital marvellous, less to carry and no smelly chemicals and standing all day in the darkroom!
