Comparing E lens FL/DOF (10 pics)

Given some recent discussions regarding the Sigma 30mm versus PZ1650 and E35, I decided to put up some recent pics that highlight the different lens behavior as illustration.
I like the Sigma 30mm lens, a lot, for edge to edge sharpness, but not for shallow DOF shots.
First, just a reference shot.
E35 at f/6.3
This shot could have been taken with the Sigma, the PZ1650 or the E35 (as is the case), or any other lens - at f/6.3, everything is in focus:
Then, this next shot is with the PZ1650, and this is the type of shot that the Sigma does well at:
PZ1650 at f/5.6
But from here on, it gets more interesting. First a subtle look at bokeh between f/4.0 and f/2.2. Subtle, but very visible (yes, background is also going backwards).
E35 at f/2.2
E35 at f/4.0
Now, moving the E35 strengths:
E35 at f/2.2
E35 at f/2.0
E35 at f/1.8
For comparison sake, here is a typical E50 shot:
E50 at f/1.8
As well as typical E24 shots:
E24 at f/4.5
E24 at f/4

Henry
